In this article you will know if your stack data is missing and how to retrieve those data.

Filtering conditions

  • Filter data

  • Sort data

  • Hide data

Firstly we will check if any filtering conditions are added that are preventing data from being visible?

It may be possible that data is in the stack, but just for some reason a filter condition has been applied. For that you can check by clicking on the filter option.

It may be possible that data is in the stack, but just for some reason a sort condition has been applied and because of that empty rows are at the top of view. For that you can check by clicking on the sort option.

It may be possible that data is in the stack, but some of your columns have been hidden. For that you can check by clicking on the hide option.

Did someone delete the data?

If you are working with other collaborators who have editor or creator permissions, it is possible that one of them might have deleted that data.
On a laptop or desktop, you can restore views, rows, columns, and tables deleted within the past week from the  Recycle Bin of your stack.

It can happen that the information you're looking for is not found in the recycle bin, this could be because the recycle bin  information you're looking for was deleted more than seven days ago.  If your stack or workspace has been shared with your collaborators, you can ask them and get confirmed that they had deleted or emptied the recycle bin.

You can check a history, which shows an activity feed of the changes made to a row when expanded.

Do any of your stack snapshots contain the now-deleted data?

More efficient than copying and pasting content from revision history record-by-record would be restoring a Stack's snapshot -- if one has been taken recently.

Don't panic. We will try our best to resolve this for you. But first, ask yourself these questions

  1. Do you have any hide fields, filter or sort enabled on your table?
  2. Did someone delete the data?

Do you have any hide fields, filter or sort enabled on your table?

It is very much possible that your data is still in your stack, but just temporarily hidden if you enabled any hide fields, filter or sort controls.

Please open the controls - Hide Fields, Filter or Sort to see if any of them are enabled. Disable it to see your data back again.

Did someone delete the data?

When you are working with your other team members in your stack who have Owner or Creator permissions, it is possible that one of them might have deleted the data.

Please contact your fellow team members and ask them if they might have deleted the data.
