Why integrate Mattermark to Stackby?

Integrating Mattermark to Stackby automates the entire process of getting startup company data for you to track your deal flow in real-time. Do away with manual entry.

How to integrate Mattermark?

Step 1

Go to https://www.mattermark.com/

Step 2

You can get your API key by Going to Accounts→API Settings→ Get New API Key

Step 3

Copy the API Key from Token Details

Step 4

To integrate the API to your workspace, go to your Account in Stackby → Workspace settings → API Configuration in Stackby and add a new integration for Mattermark and paste your API key and save

Now that you have set up the integration, here is how you can pull in your data:

  • Go to the stack and keep the first column or any column as the reference (here it will be say the stock symbol of a particular company) for collecting your data
  • In the second column, connect to the Mattermark API and rename the column, select "API" as the column property and choose Mattermark as the API and within that, search company list by Contain and select the Company Name as reference - there, you have now integrated your column with the API.
  • Add in the company name that you want to prospect, click on the refresh arrow and the API will work on the stack -- the data will start filling in the consecutive columns (you get to decide which data you want to access by selecting it from our data explorer) -- just make sure you change the column names and property beforehand; repeat with other columns.

Please note that Mattermark APIs work with getting "Company ID" first from the list and then requesting other API based on the Company ID.

So please use the first API function --> Find Company ID by Company Name to get started.

Here's how the example output will look like -
