Feature | What It Means for You |
Real-Time Web Access | AI retrieves the latest information from search results, websites, and online data sources. |
Built Into AI Columns | No need for separate scripts or APIs — just toggle “Enable Internet Search” inside your AI configuration. |
Bring Your Own AI Key | Use your own OpenAI, Gemini, or Anthropic key — with web-enabled models. |
Dynamic Context | Combine web search with your existing fields like [Company Name] or [Topic] to personalize the query. |
Instant Refresh | Auto-generate ensures results stay updated whenever data changes. |
The Web Search capability can be toggled on in any AI column setup.
Once enabled, the AI will use the internet to find the most relevant, current, or factual information related to your prompt — instead of relying solely on your stack’s existing data.
Open your table and click + to add a new column.
Choose AI as the column type.
In the configuration panel:
Name your column (e.g., “AI Web Summary” or “Trending Insights”).
Choose your AI model (GPT-4o, Gemini Pro, Claude 3 Opus, etc.).
Write your custom prompt (examples below).
Toggle on the switch for “Enable Internet Search.”
The prompt defines what kind of live information the AI should fetch from the web.
Here are some example prompts you can use:
Use Case | Example Prompt |
Company Research | “Search the web for the latest news about [Company Name]. Summarize recent updates in 3 bullet points.” |
Market Trend Analysis | “Find the latest trends in [Industry] and summarize key takeaways for 2025.” |
