# Feb 2026: Stackby AI fields - Number Output Support

Now output content for AI fields with number, % or currency format

AI Fields can now return numeric values, opening up a new class of automation and analysis workflows directly in your Stackby tables.

### **What it does**

-   Configure an AI Field to output a number — such as a sentiment score, estimated cost, priority rating, or word count
    
-   Results are stored as proper numeric values, compatible with formulas, rollups, and charts
    
-   Combine with other fields for powerful calculated insights
    

### **Example use cases**

-   Score customer feedback on a scale of 1–10
    
-   Estimate task effort in hours based on a description
    
-   Automatically extract numeric data from unstructured text
