Why should we trust Stackby?

How long has Stackby been around? Can we trust you?

We've been around as a company since 2018, and we launched Stackby in 2020 and have been improving it weekly ever since. Running a sustainable business with efficient operations is our commitment to you.

We've been growing year on year from 8000 organizations in 2021 to over 75,000 organizations worldwide in 2024.

How secure is Stackby?

Is our data backed up? How often?

Data customers enter into Stackby is stored in multiple, redundant data centers in AWS in different geographic regions. Files customers upload are stored securely and backed up to servers in a different geographic region.

Where are the servers that store our data?

Our servers are in Singapore and US. We service customers from 150+ countries using these servers. We optionally provide data server access to EU and Middle East for our enterprise plans.

Can I export data if I ever want to leave?

Absolutely, you can do it as often as you'd like - all with a single click. Plus it's entirely self service - so you don't need to ask anyone for help or permission. Further all the downloads are in CSV or Excel files, so it's easier to navigate further and still be useful.

Can you fill our custom security questionaire?

We don’t fill out custom security questionnaires, but we’ve prepared a summary security PDF which you can provide to your IT staff. Just reach out to us on support@stackby.com and we will send you the document right away.

Does Stackby have an API? Can we integrate with Stackby?

Yes, Stackby has a full-featured Developer API (docs are hosted on Postman). Our Integrations Page, links to various native column linked API connectors and workflow automation tools like Zapier, Make or Pabbly Connect that you can connect Stackby to. We also have internal automations with direct integrations to Slack, Microsoft Teams, Email & WhatsApp.

What's your customer support like? What if we need help?

Our customer support is widely considered to be among the best in the industry. We have received major reviews on G2, Capterra and AppSumo primarily for our customer service. We have product specialists who know Stackby inside and out and many are working with us for years. Even our CEO mans support sometimes and interacts with customers to help them above and beyond.

Is Stackby available other than English?

Currently we only offer Stackby’s interface in English, although we have people in over 160 countries add data in their Stackby tables in their own native languages.

If we go with Stackby, do we still need Excel, Google Sheets, Airtable, Trello, Asana or Monday?

Stackby replaces spreadsheets - for all the workflows that you need structure for. If you're building complex P&Ls, then you should definitely use your excels. Stackby also replaces Trello and Asana, since we have Grid, Kanban, Calendar boards right inside Stackby. It also replaces Monday, since you can customize and use Stackby as a CRM, and also Airtable, since we have a similar interface with unique differentiators on views, permissions, column types, collaboration features, apps, powerups, automations and more.
